70 Little Tips That Can Change a Girl's Life

“A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”- Coco Chanel

  1. Understand that being fabulous also means having a fabulous mind.
  2. Eat bananas when you have cramps, because they are the perfect cure.
  3. So is chocolate ice cream, in my opinion.
  4. Go a few days without wearing an ounce of make up, and it will do wonders for your skin. Besides, make-up is an optional addition to your beauty, it is not beauty itself.
  5. If a store clerk asks you to sign up for a free rewards card, say yes. It makes all the difference.
  6. Use dry shampoo even right after your hair is dried, it adds amazing volume.
  7. Toothpaste acts as a great spot treatment for acne. Try it, and you’ll see.
  8. Become best friends with the girls that challenge and support you. They should give you big hugs, full glasses, and enough laughter to last a lifetime.
  9. Yard sales and thrift stores are full of incredible finds. Check them out.
  10. Get a pair of roll-up flats for weddings and dances. You just slip them in your purse. They’re sold at a multitude of stores, including Wal-Mart, and make it possible for you to slip off those harrowing heels and be comfortable doing the Cha-Cha slide.
  11. Cold water will instantly get blood out of clothing. No further explanation needed…
  12. Share your opinions regularly, respectively, and assertively.
  13. If you put eye liner on your bottom lids, only do so towards the outside corners of your eyes. It will make your eyes appear larger, rather than closed in with the liner under the whole eye.
  14. Use a magnet to manage bobby pins.
  15. Get a magnified mirror. It makes the task of plucking eye brows not feel like the bane of your existence.
  16. You also won’t feel like you have to place your face two inches away from the mirror to put on your make up.
  17. Actually keep the plastic back on your earrings that goes behind the metal one. It will dramatically reduce the likelihood of those stupid things falling out all of the time.
  18. Download a budgeting app.
  19. I recommend Mint.com. It will let you set budgets for everything from retail shopping to Netflix, and you’ll really be able to see how you spend your money.
  20. Take every chance you can to learn about the world around you. Read. Discuss. Learn. Knowledge is power, and the people of this world deserve to be understood.

  22. Get a really solid adhesive bra, also known as “sticky boobs.” It will make those elegant back-less shirts and dresses your new best friends.
  23. Keep the box the bra comes in and continually put the bra back on the plastic holder when you’re done. If you don’t, it will suck up all of the hair and lint it can and start to become absolutely repulsive looking.
  24. Photos are so meaningful and important. Take as many as you can.
  25. Take Advil before you go to bed after you’ve been drinking and it cures the next morning’s struggles.

  42. A class of red wine is good for your health, and if you don’t like red wine, a glass of any wine is good for your soul.
  43. Use make-up wipes, and don’t pay an arm and a leg for them at the drug store. Places like Big Lots and Wal-Mart will sell them for incredibly cheap.
  44. Get make-up wipes for your house. Get a pack for trips. Get a pack for the car. Even get a pack if you don’t wear make-up, because they’re a great way to feel refreshed during the day when a face wash isn’t possible. They rock.

  58. Don’t hear about kisses and then tell. Gossiping is pointless.
