Geri-Lynn UtterGeri-Lynn Utter, PsyD., clinical psychologist, Medical Science Liaison, Orexo, and author of Mainlining Philly, was born in the poverty-stricken and drug-ridden Kensington area of Philadelphia and understands first-hand the torment and violence of addiction, having grown up with parents who struggled with lifelong drug addiction and mental illness. Yet, her traumatic childhood pushed her not down the same dangerous road as her parents, but into a life as a fierce advocate, a clinical psychologist, medical science liaison, and a published author.
